VP Picks for Joe Biden
If Vice President Joe Biden were to ask an astrologer for input in selecting his best running mate, who would rank among the most favorable, astrologically speaking?
Let’s explore.
The following women are potential candidates:
Stacey Abrams, former State Representative of Georgia
Tammy Baldwin, Senator of Wisconsin
Keisha Lance Bottoms, Mayor of Atlanta, GA
Catherine Cortez Masto, Senator of Nevada
Val Demings, US Representative of Florida
Tammy Duckworth, Senator of Illinois
Michelle Lujan Grisham, Governor of New Mexico
Kamala Harris, Senator of California
Maggie Hassan, Senator of New Hampshire and former Governor
Gina Raimondo, Governor of Rhode Island
Jeanne Shaheen, Senator of New Hampshire
Elizabeth Warren, Senator of Massachusetts
Gretchen Whitmer, Governor of Michigan
Sally Yates, Former US Attorney and US Deputy Attorney General
From the above list of possibilities, the following contenders have charts that match favorably with Mr.Biden:
Gretchen Whitmer
Jeanne Shaheen
Tammy Duckworth
Val Demings
Gretchen Whitmer and Jeanne Shaheen
Whitmer and Shaheen both have Jupiter very close to Biden’s natal sun, which is at 27 degrees of Scorpio. Whitmer’s Jupiter is exactly on Biden’s sun, whereas Shaheen’s sun is three degrees away at 24 degrees of Scorpio. Jupiter is the planet that represents, among other things, luck, opportunity, growth and humor. Having their Jupiter so close to Biden’s sun will help broaden Biden’s appeal.
There is no recorded time of birth for Whitmer and the moon changed signs the day she was born so there’s a 50/50 chance her moon is either in Virgo or Libra. A Libra moon would make her a consummate diplomat, giving her the ability to see both sides of a coin with a willingness to compromise. A Virgo moon would make her a stickler for details and would imbue her with a sense of service and duty. In addition, her natal Venus and Sun sit directly on a critical point in Biden’s chart, the North Node of the Moon. This point is important because it represents where one will ultimately realize a sense of satisfaction and success, helping them each make progress. Whitmer and Biden would naturally revere one another and since Biden’s North Node and Whitmer’s Venus and Sun are in Leo,their sense of loyalty to one another would be palpable.
Additionally, Whitmer’s North Node of the Moon and Mars are both in Aquarius, sitting directly on Biden’s third house cusp, suggesting that together, they can communicate messages of social inclusion. Whitmer’s Saturn is just four degrees from Biden’s Saturn, suggesting that they both will be tested when it comes to expressing themselves verbally.
A point of compatibility between Biden and Shaheen is that Shaheen’s North Node is in Biden’s seventh house of partnerships, sitting on Biden’s natal Saturn. So, she could be a good spokesperson for him, especially if Biden continues to be prone to gaffes. However, there are some distinct conflicts between the two charts that could be a deal breaker. Shaheen has a stellium of planets in the fixed sign of Aquarius, creating a wide square to Biden’s natal Mars, suggesting that if they disagree with one another, it could be rather vehement. And, Shaheen has an Aries moon which is not exactly fond of playing second fiddle. Aries prefers being in the driver’s seat, which would be another drawback to the scenario.
Tammy Duckworth
Tammy Duckworth has some elements in her chart that would help Biden shine, specifically her Jupiter on Biden’s north node as well as her moon. Since her time of birth also is not publicly documented, the exact placement of her moon cannot be known, but it would still be within a respectable distance to Biden’s North Node to be helpful. Similar to Shaheens’ chart, Duckworth has planets Mercury and Venus in Aquarius, both of which are in a tight square to Biden’s Mercury, Sun and Venus. So, once again, when they disagree, it too would be vehement. Duckworth also has a lot of Aries in her chart, making her the brave person that she is, with Saturn, Mars and the North Node of the Moon in that sign. There’s no doubt she can hold her own in any given battle. Her Neptune is right on Biden’s sun, so he would likely idealize her. Again, with all the Aries in her chart, the question remains as to whether she would be comfortable not being in the driver’s seat.
Val Demings
Val Demings’s chart shows compatibility with Biden’s in that her North Node is directly on Biden’s Mercury, which is the ruler of his 10th house of career, suggesting that she can play a strong role in elevating his message of service. She has a Pisces sun with both Mercury and Venus in that sign and all of them make a lovely trine to all of Biden’s Scorpio planets. Therefore, they would be able to read each like a book, being on a very similar wavelength when it comes to empathy and selflessness. Her moon is either in Cancer or Leo. A cancer moon would impart an ability to sense the public mood, whereas a Leo moon would impart a sense of confidence and comfort being in the spotlight. However, her Taurus Mars sits in an opposition to the late degrees of his Scorpio planets, which could put them at odds.
As of this writing, the Black Lives Matter movement is well underway, which may be motivating Biden to pick an African American female. From the above list, three are African American: Keisha Lance Bottoms,Val Demings and Stacey Abrams. Although Kamala Harris calls herself black, the reality is that she is not African American. Her mother was born in India and her father was born in Jamaica.
When all is said and done, the person with the greatest number of connections to Biden’s chart appears to be Gretchen Whitmer. She has what it takes to help elevate Biden to victory without outshining him.If Mr. Biden feels inclined to choose an African American female, his best choice would be Val Demings.
Let it be clear that this is in no way a prediction as to who Biden will choose. This is merely an assessment of compatibility.
As for when Mr. Biden will announce his pick, astrologically it makes sense for this to happen within a few days from now. Venus goes direct Thursday, June 25th , right on his descendant, which is the cusp of the seventh house of partners. Mars will also be making a trine to his natal Venus on that day, elevating the attention on a female.
Time will tell.
